Historic Cabarrus Association Announces New Brand Identity

The Historic Cabarrus Association is thrilled to announce the launch of its new brand identity, a significant step forward in our mission to preserve and promote the rich history of Cabarrus County. This rebranding initiative aims to enhance our visibility and engagement within the community while reflecting our commitment to celebrating the unique heritage of our region.

A Locally Focused Initiative

The rebranding effort is being spearheaded by Justin Moore, a member of the HCA Board of Directors and the owner of Sublmnl, a brand development-focused creative agency based in Kannapolis, NC. With his expertise in branding and marketing, Justin is leading the charge to create a fresh, modern identity and brand story that resonates with residents and visitors alike.

In discussing the importance of this rebrand, Justin stated, "Our goal is to bring the history of Cabarrus County to life for future generations. By creating a brand that focuses on our heritage and engages the community, we can inspire curiosity and appreciation for the stories that have shaped the area. This new identity and brand story will help us connect with a broader audience and ensure that our history remains relevant and accessible."

A Bright Future Ahead

The new brand identity includes a redesigned logo, updated color palette, a complete reimagination of the Historic Visitors Center, a new web and social media presence, reinventing The Golden Nugget publication, and refreshed messaging that emphasizes our dedication to historic preservation and community engagement. The refreshed logo features the iconic Cabarrus County historic courthouse, which is also the home of the Historic Visitors Center, serving as a visual representation of our commitment to preserving the past while looking toward the future.

As part of this rebranding initiative, the Historic Cabarrus Association will also be launching new programs and events designed to engage the community and foster a deeper understanding of our local history. By enhancing our brand, we can better serve our mission and create meaningful connections with those who share our passion for preserving Cabarrus County's heritage.

We invite everyone in the community to join us in celebrating this exciting new chapter for the Historic Cabarrus Association. Stay tuned and follow along for upcoming events and initiatives that will showcase our renewed commitment to preserving and promoting Cabarrus County's rich history.
