As part of the event, we invite the community to submit nominations for several prestigious awards, recognizing outstanding efforts in various categories:

• Historian of the Year: This award honors an individual who has made significant contributions to the field of local history through research, education, or advocacy.
• Residential Preservationist of the Year: This award recognizes a homeowner or individual who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to preserving a historic residential property in Cabarrus County.
• Commercial Preservationist of the Year – Construction: This award acknowledges a business or contractor who has played a vital role in the restoration or preservation of a historic commercial property.
• Commercial Preservationist of the Year – Business: This award celebrates a business that has actively contributed to the preservation of local history through its operations, community engagement, or support of preservation initiatives.
