The Cabarrus County Veterans Museum
Ongoing Exhibit – Cabarrus County and the Wars
Operated by the Historic Cabarrus Association, the Cabarrus County Veterans Museum exhibit is located in the lobby of the Cabarrus County Governmental Center in downtown Concord, NC. It pays tribute to the legacy of the county’s servicemen and women from World War I to the present. Admission is free, and group tours can be arranged by appointment.
From the American Revolution—before Cabarrus County was established—to the War in Afghanistan, men and women from Cabarrus County have bravely served and sacrificed their lives for their country. The exhibits at the Cabarrus County Veterans Museum honor these individuals who have participated in military conflicts throughout history. Displays are updated annually to showcase different aspects of their service.
